Strawberry daiquiri

Finally the strawberries are in season! I have been waiting for these juicy, fragrant, sweet fruit for so long! ( And no, the ones you get in the middle of the winter are not the same).

I remember when I was helping my grandparents picking strawberries from the field. When you eat freshly picked ones, still covered in muck, they just taste different. Nothing will beat it. To celebrate this wonderful but short season, I made the strawberry daiquiri, which is very refreshing drink for hot summer evenings with friends.
