I’ve been watching Chef’s Table with a friend of mine (quite a foodie too), and we went drooling when we saw what Christina Tosi is baking… I couldn’t get over the genius behind cereal milk panna cotta, compost cookies or birthday truffles. There was one treat that got our attention and curiosity even more – a crack pie. Impossible to resist sweet, sugary, oat cookie based pie. I knew I had to try making it.

Sweet omelette

I will be honest with you. Life has been very hectic for the past three months. I couldn’t find space or motivation to cook properly and adjust the way I cook to suit just me and my daughter. I missed photography and I missed the creative part of me. But thanks to good friend (yes Ewelina, that’s all thanks to you!) I got a kick in the arse and suddenly I woke up with the energy to do things I really love doing.

School bake sales are on before Halloween. I usually bake something for my daughter’s school. If you are looking to make something that will impress the little ones, try also these strawberry bars. With kids in mind I made these rainbow cookies. They are really easy to make and you can double the ingredients so when you are in need of something sweet and delicious you can bake them quickly. Blueberry muffins

My adventure with muffins began about 8 years ago when I was expecting my daughter. I craved these luscious, sweet and fluffy buns which I could eat without guilt then (right?).  And seriously, who doesn’t like the blueberry muffins? They are ridiculously easy to make. In fact, the less effort you make in mixing the batter, the better the muffins! They are great for quick snack on the go and kids absolutely love them.
